BONUS: WORLD RENOWNED ARTIST MAKES RARE GUEST APPEARANCE.
Last Thursday, the West Michigan Addy Awards came to Grand Rapids to award advertising’s best of the best, on this side of the Great Lake State.
The Fairly Painless crew put on our fancy pants, partook in the activities and wound up winning big. It was an evening of fun festivities, candid conversations and peer-to-peer recognition and admiration.
When all was said and done, Fairly Painless took home six Addy Awards, including a Gold and Judge’s Choice for our unfulfilled, self-promotional masterpiece, Office Unfinished *–an ArtPrize installation and multimedia campaign.
Office Unfinished, by neo-nonperformance artist, Farley Painlezz’, elegantly translates the real life frustrations of office renovation into a moving work-of-art. The piece received coverage by MLive and Funny or Die.

In addition, FP was awarded for our work with Haworth, Family Fare, Hurley Medical Center and the Grand Rapids Community Foundation.
The attention-grabbing, tough meat-defying, “Mr. Tender” campaign won a Silver Addy Award in the Regional/National TV Spot category, recognizing our work with Family Fare.
Hurley Medical Center’s “Here for you. For Life.” earned Fairly Painless another Silver Addy in the Regional/National TV Spot category.
Haworth’s Poppy Sales Material won Silver in the Sales Kit category. Colored pencils FTW.
Our vibrant Grand Rapids Community Foundation Annual Report took home a Silver Addy in the Printed Annual Report category.
As you can tell, we had a great time at the Addy Awards. Creativity showed up in full-force, along with West Michigan’s amazing community of advertising aficionados.
